Neptun – End of the year financial operations close between 21. December 2020 – 3. January 2021

Between December 2020 and the beginning of January 2021, the Neptun Student web’s financial operation will be as follows:  

Debit card payments will not operate until 06:00 CET on the 3rd January 2021.

Transferring to the Neptun bank account: the transfers are turned into the Neptun system on every banking day until the 21st December 2020, and will only turn again on the 3rd January 2021.  Consequently, transfers have to be started until 10:00 CET on the 17th December 2020.

Paying fees in the Neptun through the Neptun bank account: between 9:00 CET 22nd December 2020 and 6:00 CET 3rd January 2021 paying fees in the Neptun system through the bank account will not operate.

Deadlines for fees: all fees which have a paying deadline falling between the 22nd December 2020 and 3rd January 2021, will be extended until the 4th January 2021.  

Please note about the above:

1. It may take up to 3 working days for a transfer to the Neptun bank account to be turned into the student Neptun accounts, after which the liabilities can be paid.

2.  For the amounts to be identified, the comments have to have the Neptun code as such: NK-XXXXXX

3. If your transfer does not arrive within 3 working days, please submit the “E111 Request to examine money transfer to Neptun account” request, to which you have to attach the bank receipt of the transfer, which includes the source account number (from which the transfer was started), the beneficiary’s account number (to which the transfer was started), the amount and date of the transfer and the comments.  

For those students who intend to take their final exams in the beginning of January, please note that based on the BME Code of Studies: Section 149. (5).: Students may not take their finals, if they a)failed to settle their payment obligations towards the University, b)failed to return any equipment owned by the University and previously given to the students for use or (ex.: library books) c)failed to submit their bachelor or master thesis by the specified deadline.
