Enrolment Process after the Application
After the application the enrolment process consist of the following steps:
Letter of Acceptance
Applicants will receive the Letter of Acceptance of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. The Letter of Acceptance contains the registration number of the applicants, which is necessary for the payment of the tuition fee.
Payment of the tuition fee
After receiving the Letter of Acceptance applicants should pay the tuition fee.
Bank Account Details of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics
NOTE: remember to write the Student's name and registration number according to the "letter of acceptance" in the box 'Information for beneficiary', otherwise payments may not be identified!
Proof of Payment
If the payment successfully arrived to the bank account of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, applicants receive an email with the proof of payment.
Visit Embassy
With the Proof of Payment and the Letter of Acceptance applicants should visit the nearest Hungarian Consulate to obtain the entry visa to Hungary.

Preparatory Classes for Placement Test
Preparatory Classes will be organized in Math and Physics to help the applicants to prepare for the Placement Test.
Placement Test
Students have to write placement tests in Mathematics, Physics and English and Freehand Drawing for Architecture students. Students found to have inadequate skills in Mathematics, Physics or English will be directed to the one year Preparatory Course before the B.Sc. programs.

Registration
After the announcement of the results of the placement test students have to register at the Central Academic Office of the university. EU citizens have to present EU Health Insurance Card at registration to apply for residence permit for study purpose in Hungary.

Orientation Program
All newly enrolled students (Pre-Engineering Course and General Course in Architecture, B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. as well as for exchange, study abroad and transfer students) an orientation program will be organised at the beginning of the semester. The orientation program includes introductory lectures, access to the Internet, visit the Library and a sightseeing tour.
