Friday, 7 February 2025

If you didn’t submit your „100 Enrolment” request before 23:59 CET 6 February 2025, then you can make the enrollment process for a late fee (5500 HUF) between 9 February and 14 March, 2025. In this case please follow the description of „Enrollment step by step” below and your administrator will inflict the fee in the Neptun system at the decision of the request.

According to Section 55 (5) of the BME Code of Studies transfer, change of specialisation, change of training place or training language or working mode may take place from the end of the previous academic term until 15 September for the autumn term and until 15 February for the spring term.

A student who has participated in the transfer procedure and who does not enrol for the new training program by 15 February cannot be transferred.

Please follow step by step our guide to the susseccful enrollment.

Important! Even if you have an „022 Request for Preferential Course Schedule” request with an accepted decision, you have to submit the „100 Enrolment” request.

The in-person enrolment will be at CAO in the Main Hall of building R. Please follow our news for the opening hours information.

If you do not submit the „100 Enrolment” request before 23:59 CET 23 February 2025 your subjects will be dropped in Neptun.

Enrolment step by step shortly:

  1. Download the Enrolment form from Neptun Information/General forms (and if you are a tuition fee paying student the Study Contract for Students).
  2. Authenticate your Enrolment form (and your Study Contract for Students if you have it). Print it out in two copies and sign them with your own handwritten signature with blue pen.
  3. Submit the „100 Enrolment” Neptun request.
  4. Please choose the "By personal attendance" mode of registration in the "100 Enrolment" request, in this case you have to come in the CAO for the in-person enrolment until the deadline in the late arrival permission.

The final deadline is 14 March, if it is accepted by the Faculty.

  5. In the late enrolment period, you can change your student status after submitting the „100 Enrolment” request. (Until 23 February you can have active or passive status. After 23 February starting from the third week of instruction until 14 March in the spring term late enrolment is only possible for the first term with passive status upon registration and the CAO programme coordinator will change the student legal status.)
  6. If you arrive later than 6 February and you haven't requested a late arrival permission via „022 Request for Preferential Study Schedule” form in Neptun, you will have to pay an extra fee (5500HUF).

Please note that students on BSc programmes must arrive before 24 February, students on MSc programmes must arrive before 3 March and students on the Preliminary program must arrive before 14 March. If you arrive later than the above deadlines and don't apply for a late arrival permission, the Faculty may not allow you to start your studies in the current term and may ask you to go home. (Faculty may accept a later deadline if you request it via 022 form!)

IMPORTANT: Before you start organising your trip to Hungary, please make sure that your student status is active in Neptun; you have registered subjects or submitted 018 requests; you have submitted the 100 Enrolment request!

  7. Please note, that the in-person enrolment is obligatory to complete your enrolment and registration to BME, even if your first term is passive.

If you do not submit the „100 Enrolment” request before 23:59 CET 23 February, 2025 your subjects will be dropped in Neptun.

  8. Come to CAO for the in-person enrolment with your original documents and their photocopies.
