Your initial login name in Neptun is the Student ID code sent in your letter of acceptance and your initial password includes your birthdate of the following format: NeYYYYMMDD. It is recommended to change your initial password.

Available requests in Neptun
E001 Appeal: This is a request of reconsideration of the decision on another request.
E003 Request for Equity (Faculty Chance): This request is for asking exemption from any one of the BME Code of studies regulations. You can get faculty chance only once during your studies!
E004 Request for postponement for new SH students: It is available each year between 1st July and 30th September.
007 Opposition to payment obligation: Based on the BME Regulations on student fees and benefits Annex 2. § 2. (5) Students shall have the right to seek legal remedy regarding the fees not determined and levied by the students pursuant to the provisions of Chapter X of the TVSZ. The students may exercise their above right through the „007 Opposition to payment obligation” request. For more details, please read our guide among Downloadable documents.
E008 Request to repeated registration for a subject for improvement: It is available each term during the examination periods and registration periods. It is necessary to have 4500 HUF on the Neptun bank account before submitting the request.
E009 Request for extension for SH students
E010 Tuition fee: This request is for tuition fee paying students, they can ask for tuition fee reduction, tuition fee payment in installments or delayed payment of tuition fee by this request.
E013 Request for deferred exam: Article (8) Section 120. of the BME Code of studies – „Based on student request and in duly justified instances, the FSC may allow the student to take an exam after the exam period but not later than the beginning of the next term [deferred exam].” After the request is accepted, the student will receive – in the attachment of the request – a formal Decision. The student has to send this decision to the department responsible for the subject to arrange the special exam period for the deferred exam.
E018 Request to register for subjects / to drop subjects: It is available each term, until the end of the first week of study period it is free, after that you have to pay 5500 HUF/ course through your Neptun account. For more details, please read our guide among Downloadable documents.
E022 Request for Preferential Course Schedule and onlie learning during the COVID-19 pandemic.
E024 Request for subject accreditation: By this request, you can transfer credits from your previous studies. For more details, please read our guide among Downloadable documents. Please note, that are some changes for studnets starting in the 2020/21/1 term:
1. Pre-BME-studies accreditation: it is basically part of the admission process, especially for transfer students. In this case, you have to fill out the Excel file for request E024 with the Faculty Credit Transfer Committee, and MUST include the decision columns. You have only ONE chance before your first semester at BME to accredit all your previous subjects, any further such accreditation is only possible with a Faculty Chance.
2. Parallel-BME-studies accreditation: if you took part in a summer school, exchange program, etc., parallel to your BME studies, you may accredit the subjects/marks you obtained outside of BME. In this case, DO NOT fill out the decision columns of the table, the Credit Transfer Committee will do so! If you try to accredit a pre-BME subject, your request will be denied by your CAO coordinator. PLease find your faculties and responsible persons under Useful links.
E030 Request for withdrawal of active status: It is available until 14th October in the fall terms and 14th March in the spring terms.
E031 Request for passive term: It is available from 15th October in the fall terms and 15th March in the spring terms.
E032 Dismissal upon request
E033 Request for changing institution/major or/and language of studies for SH students: It is available until 1st December in the fall terms and 15th May in the spring terms.
E036 Appeal for Legal Redress: By this request, you can appeal against the unilateral dismissal declaration (because of 3 passive semesters). Note that this request has a 3000 HUF service fee. The fee will be imposed within 3 days after the submission of the request and has to be paid before the meeting of the Student’s Legal Redress Committee.
E066 Request for temporary student certificate
E088 COVID-19: Statement for students who experience the symptoms of SARS-CoV-2, or based on the SARS-CoV-2 test results, their infection is proven.
E100 Registration form: This request is for tuition fee paying and exchange students. It has to be submitted each terms in order to complete the registration.
E100P Request for late registration: This request is for tuition fee paying and exchange students. It has to be submitted, if the student missed to submit the E100 request in time. It is necessary to have 5500 HUF on the Neptun bank account before submitting the request.
E100LSH Request for late arrival of new SH students: It should be submitted by the end of the registration period, if the student cannot arrive in time to complete the in-person registration.
E101SH General purpose request: You can submit this request in the following topics: Problems in your studies; Problems with permanent student card; Problems with temporary student; TAJ card management; Residence permit management; Accommodation (e.g. dormitory, renting an apartment); Health insurance; Opening a bank account; Requesting tax number; Problems with scholarship and/or accommodation allowance payment.
E102P Request for late activation of the term: This request is available after the registration period for 1 week. It is necessary to have 5500 HUF on the Neptun bank account before submitting the request.
E111 Request to examine money transfer to Neptun account – Submit this request if you transferred money to the Neptun account, the 3 working days have passed, and you still can’t see it.
E200 Registration Form for Scholarship Holders: This request is for new scholarship holder students. It has to be submitted at the beginning of studies in order to complete the registration.
E999 Request for a purpose not specified in any other requests
