We are pleased to welcome you at the Centre for Modern Languages of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME) for the autumn term of the 2022/2023 academic year.

The university has always recognised the importance of teaching foreign languages with a special focus on languages for specific purposes (LSPs). The Centre for Modern Languages aims to develop students’ written and oral communication skills in foreign languages, and provide them with skills that will enable them to keep pace with the latest developments of the rapidly changing scientific world throughout their studies.
